About Alabama Honor Bridge
Alabama Honor Bridge connects Alabama employers with transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, and dependents.
We begin by understanding an employer’s hiring needs and a candidate’s experience, interests, and career goals. From there, we explore direct-hire opportunities and structured training pathways when appropriate.
Our focus is practical: help employers find relevant talent and help military-connected individuals build careers in Alabama. We work alongside existing workforce and veteran-serving organizations to strengthen connections across the state.

Meet the Founder
Rodney Hatch founded Alabama Honor Bridge with experience on both sides of the military-to-civilian transition.
A disabled U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Rodney served in law enforcement and corrections before entering the private sector. After overcoming personal hardship, including homelessness, he restarted his career in 2015 in an entry-level role at Builders FirstSource and advanced into corporate military recruiting.
His experience includes veteran hiring initiatives, SkillBridge program management, and working directly with employers and transitioning service members to connect military experience with civilian opportunities.
That combination of lived experience and recruiting expertise shapes Alabama Honor Bridge’s approach: understand the person, understand the work, and build a practical connection between the two.
